If you haven’t heard yet, Rails 3 pre-release came out last night thanks to the Rails team. jQuery 1.4 was also released recently. This means a lot when it comes to web development, and especially with Just Professionals. We want to make sure we are staying updated with the latest web technologies.
If you want to get started with Rails 3.0 beta, here is how you can install it:
# Use sudo if your setup requires it

Just Professionals client, Sushi Nomads, has achieved national attention with their sushi restaurant review website. In an article published by the Shreveport Times called Sushi Nomads Web Site a Big Hit, the site founders describe how their love for sushi spawned the idea for a website and how Just Professionals web design and custom development brought it to fruition.

Ok, so you’ve been working on a project and decided to get fancy with some jQuery Ajax magic. Awesome! You do all your work in FireFox or maybe even Chrome so you can use Firebug or other Developer tools, and everything seems good, right? Well, since you’re a good developer you want to make sure everyone can enjoy in your hard work so you open up Internet Explorer to test and *cue music* DUN DUN DUN, it doesn’t work…. Hmm… Ok, let’s start debugging and seeing why. 1st you check for syntax errors.
